Halo Children's Foundation HALO is a charity set up to help provide bereavement support to children & their families We hope with our support families do not need to grieve alone.

Halo Children’s Foundation is charity that supports children and their families with bereavement. We provide advice, information, support services and hope to those dealing with the loss of a loved one. This support is offered after the death of a parent, sibling, grandparent or even a close friend who is now missing from the child’s life. We understand that every child is different and therefore

will respond to grief in different ways. We consider these differences by providing a vast range of services for various needs. These services include expressive arts and play sessions, trips out, sporting activities, counselling and therapy. In addition to this we have an in house child play therapist, family support worker and other professionals to offer the best support for the young person and their family. Our mission is to provide positive experiences and tools that equip children with ways to build new memories so that they are able to smile again.

Join our annual walk in Barra Hall Park this year.
Friends and family are welcome to join us as we walk 5k around the park path.
You can collect sponsors if you like which all money raised goes to provide bereavement support to other children and families in our community. A sponsor form can be sent to you or you can set up your own just giving page by selecting Halo Children’s Foundation.
You can join us to walk in memory of a loved one or just to show support. The more the merrier.
