๐ŸŒŸ Go George! ๐ŸŒŸ

Seven-year-old George Gibbons from Henley-on-Thames is taking on his first-ever triathlon this May โ€” all to raise money for the NSPCC! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

George will be competing in the Henley Triathlon's Zinc event, which includes a 25m swim, 1km bike ride, and 500m run. A keen runner and cyclist, heโ€™s recently added swimming to his training and is more excited than ever for race day. ๐Ÿ’ช

Even better, George has chosen to raise money for the NSPCC because, as he wrote on his form, he wants โ€œevery child to get a fair chance at life.โ€ ๐Ÿ’š
If youโ€™d like to support Georgeโ€™s amazing effort, you can donate here:

A huge festive thank you to our NSPCC Norwich Fundraising Committee for their continued dedication and hard work throughout the year.

This month, they sold NSPCC Christmas cards in the St. Peter Mancroft Church card shop and entered a splendid NSPCC-themed tree into the Christmas Tree Festival.

Additional thanks to the Rotary Club of Norwich St Edmund for inviting them to join in with their Christmas Tree Festival and for the support they give to so many causes this time of year.

They also held a wonderful carol service where the local community gathered to sing carols, eat mince pies, drink hot chocolate and mulled wine. Community Fundraising Manager, Lisa, went along with her husband to show gratitude and join in the festivities.

Helen, and her Norwich team, will finish the Christmas season having raised thousands for the charity. This money will help enable the NSPCC to be there for children and young people when they need us. Many, many thanks to them for their continued support.
