Is your child anxious about heading back to school? As part of our partnership with Matalan, families in Luton can give them a little confidence boost ahead of the new term!

Matalan's Confidence Caravan will be at the Castle Street store in Luton between 10.30am and 4.30pm this Saturday (29th August), where professional seamstresses will apply positive messages to children's uniforms.

Childline delivered more than 1,500 counselling sessions last year on returning to school or college, and simple, discrete messages like "You're braver than you know", "Believe in yourself" and "We're always behind you" offer a small but meaningful reminder for children to carry with them throughout the school day.

Hope to see you there!

Players had a fantastic round of golf and a visit from former Ryder Cup winner Bernard Gallacher who shared some of his memories of his golf career and the tournaments he played in. He also handed out the prizes to winning players and teams. ⛳

A special thank you to Pat and Stephen Gallagher from main event sponsors Gallagher Group who generously donated.

Huge thanks to the Classics In The Walled Garden Committee whose recent event raised a fantastic £10,434.30 for the NSPCC.

A vast array of wonderful cars and vehicles came together for the event at Luton Hoo and we are grateful to all who took part - all those who showed off their fabulous motors and everyone who attended.

One person who came along said: “Fabulous, fabulous event. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Everything was perfect, including the weather. Great way to raise money and have a great time. Thanks a million, to the hard workers behind the scenes – Brilliant”
