A huge thank you to Bearsted Golf Club for raising an incredible £14,000 for the NSPCC with their recent charity golf day.🏌

Players had a fantastic round of golf and a visit from former Ryder Cup winner Bernard Gallacher who shared some of his memories of his golf career and the tournaments he played in. He also handed out the prizes to winning players and teams. ⛳

A special thank you to Pat and Stephen Gallagher from main event sponsors Gallagher Group who generously donated.

Huge thanks to the Classics In The Walled Garden Committee whose recent event raised a fantastic £10,434.30 for the NSPCC.

A vast array of wonderful cars and vehicles came together for the event at Luton Hoo and we are grateful to all who took part - all those who showed off their fabulous motors and everyone who attended.

One person who came along said: “Fabulous, fabulous event. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Everything was perfect, including the weather. Great way to raise money and have a great time. Thanks a million, to the hard workers behind the scenes – Brilliant”

Bearsted Golf Day is taking place on Thursday 2nd July at Bearsted Golf Club - raising money for Childline. 🏌

Entry costs £75 per person for a team of 4 - reduced to £40 per person for members of Bearsted Golf Club.

This is the 40th year for the event which also ties in with the 40th anniversary of Childline. ⛳

Classics in the Walled Garden returns to Luton Hoo this summer but early bird tickets are only available until May 31.

This popular event takes place on July 1 and features vintage, classic and exotic cars, motorbikes and commercial vehicles. Money raised by the event is going to the NSPCC and the Walled Garden Project.

Get your tickets and gather with friends on a summer's evening in the historic Walled Garden at Luton Hoo Estate. We look forward to seeing you there!

Looking for the perfect distraction for the children this half term? Come along to Stody Lodge Gardens on Friday 29 May between 1pm and 5pm and enjoy the glorious gardens in the early summer sunshine.

The tea room will be serving delicious cakes, savouries and drinks in aid of the NSPCC.
