At UCLH - University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a recently completed project in the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson (EGA) Wing Labour Ward is helping create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for patients, families, and staff.

The artwork, created by artist Kate Bond and funded by our charity, spans 50 metres of space, features plants, trees and birds with cultural significance across different regions of the world and draws inspiration from the more than 100 nationalities represented among patients and staff.

The artwork reflects themes of hope, resilience, renewal and belonging and was developed through extensive consultation with staff and patients through the maternity and neonatal voices partnership.
