Calling all food growers in Hackney!

Following feedback from our very first Food Conversation we are opening up the garden again to bring together local growers and begin to dream into existence a more localised way of growing and sharing food.

What to expect on the day:
🌽 A collaborative exercise to map locally grown food
🍅 Open discussion around building a food growers network and food hubs in Hackney
🫛 Sharing food and making connections

Details:
🍓Sunday 13th September, 3-6pm in the garden
🥗Bring a dish to share if you feel like it

Visit the link in our bio to sign up to the Eventbrite and secure a space. Spread the word to fellow growers :)

Thank you to everyone who came down on a Sunday to share their time, ideas, energy and even food! We are so grateful for this community and excited to continue engaging with you all in shaping a greener and more connected Hackney.
Thanks to our speakers from Hackney Right to Grow GrowingCommunities for sharing their insights and experiences.
We are so looking forward to the next one! 🌼

Thanks for coming everyone! Heroic work getting everything watered 💪

🌞 Call to Action: Hackney Food Conversation 🌱🌱🌱

Sunday 28th June 2026, Garden of Earthly Delights

Accessing fresh and healthy food is a right for everyone not just for the few. Yet in Hackney lot of people don’t know where they can get more fresh and healthy food.

We want to create a space where we can talk about food; the current food system; and what changes we could envision for Hackney with the aim of building actions together.

There will be discussions, speakers and a garden community meal. 🍅🥦

Some of our guests include , GrowingCommunities and Hackney Right to Grow

It’s free but spaces are limited! We are specifically inviting locals from Hackney as the day will focus on local action.
