Arab Puppet Theatre Foundation

A platform to revive, advance, continually challenge and rethink puppetry on a global level.

The Arab Puppet Theatre Foundation (APTF) was founded in 2008 based on the urgent necessity of preserving and perpetuating the Arab puppetry as crucial cultural heritage. It seeks to encourage the professional development of this art form. Throughout the years we have worked internationally, held specialised residencies, performed, and researched in a number of countries, including Abu Dhabi, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, Germany, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Nigeria, Oman, Qatar, Sweden, Tunisia, UK and many more.
