We are saddened by the passing of our dear friend and teacher, Adel Tartir. When you meet the artist, Adel Tartir, you feel a strong sense that this man standing before you is a talented and brilliant artist,
a personable and humorous person. He was one of the early founders of the Palestinian and Arab theater movement. Actor, director, storyteller, and teacher—all these talents combined—were Adel Tartir.
