Just one week to go!

Over the past decade, the St Thomas’ Abseil has raised an incredible £1.5 million. And on 25 and 26 September, our amazing Team Evelina will be back, taking on the iconic descent down St Thomas’ Hospital yet again.

They'll be abseiling with stunning views of Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye, all while raising vital funds to support thousands of young patients at Evelina London.

Every penny raised helps us invest in the latest equipment and pioneering technology that pushes the boundaries of treatment and care.

Meet Kim 🧡

Continuing her father's legacy of supporting incredible care at Evelina London, Kim raised £2497 as Ladies Captain at Aquarius Golf Club.

The donation was raised by club members and carries a very special meaning for Kim and her family. Her father, Fred, who was the club’s much-loved Head Professional for over 50 years, had a long-standing connection with Evelina London. The hospital also cared for Kim’s brother when he was seriously ill as a baby.

Fred never forgot the kindness shown to their family, and over the years he and his loved ones continued to support Evelina, even bringing joy to young patients by painting cartoon characters on the wards.

Kim’s visit continues that wonderful legacy of giving back, and we are so grateful to Aquarius Golf Club and everyone who contributed to this donation.

The incredible teams at Evelina London are at the heart of everything that makes the hospital so special.

Through our funding, we help provide vital education and training opportunities, giving staff the chance to learn from world-leading experts, develop new skills and explore innovative ways to improve care for children and families.

One example is the HeartWorks Simulator - an innovative training tool that helps doctors practise and develop their skills in scanning children’s hearts. By using highly accurate imaging, teams can build confidence in identifying and understanding heart conditions, helping to support the next generation of expert care.

By investing in training and innovation, we’re helping Evelina London teams continue to deliver the very best care for children now and in the future 🧡
