How many weeks left until the kids go back to school? Already preparing for the new year? Sometimes it's easy to forget that going to school isn't the same experience for every child.

At Nyirarukobwa Primary School in Rwanda, some pupils walk long distances barefoot, while others have just one notebook for every subject.

Thanks to your support, Good Gifts helped provide books, pens and school bags to 100 students, giving them the tools they need to learn with confidence.

Every child deserves the chance to feel prepared, proud and excited to learn.

A notebook might seem ordinary.
A pen might seem small.
But for many children in rural Rwanda, these simple items can make all the difference.
Through our Equip a Child for School Good Gift, 100 students at Nyirarukobwa Primary School received books, pens and school bags—giving them the tools they need to learn, participate in class and look ahead with confidence.
As Head Teacher Mr Kalisa explains:
"These materials will make a real difference. They will help them study better and feel proud to come to school."
It's amazing what can happen when a child has everything they need to walk into the classroom ready to learn.

Sometimes the best conservation stories are the quiet ones.
After years of dedicated conservation work, puffins have been seen returning to nesting burrows on the Isle of Muck in Northern Ireland—a hopeful sign that nature can recover when it's given the chance.
With nesting pairs returning, there's even hope that pufflings will soon follow.
