The London Bihu Committee is delighted to welcome back Ajanta Dutta - a Kathak dancer since the age of 5 - to our stage this time with her daughter, Devanshi.

A celebration of legacy, passion and culture.

Having performed in prestigious fashion and cultural events across India and the UK, Devanshi is now embracing Assamese traditions - learning Bihu and carrying the culture forward.

This will truly be a special mother-daughter performance honouring heritage, passion and pride.

The London Bihu Committee is excited to welcome Gauri Goswami to London Rongali Bihu 2026.

A trained classical dancer with Visharad-II (Distinction) from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyapith, Lucknow, Gauri combines artistic excellence with an impressive academic and professional journey.

She holds an LLM in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham, is an aspiring barrister in England and Wales, and a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple.

A gold medalist in Astrophysics, S**C MACAY empanelled artist, and artistic member of the International Dance Council (CID), UNESCO, Anannya is celebrated for taking Sattriya and Bihu to wider global audiences while staying rooted in their authenticity and traditional spirit.

To get a flavour of our celebrations, watch Hiramoni Sarma’s latest series Probaxi Jibon on Rengoni TV, featuring last year’s London Rongali Bihu - celebrating community, connection, and culture. The episode beautifully captures how LBC members have transformed memories of Assam into enduring Rongali Bihu traditions in London, as well as a shared sense of home, which continues to bring people together.

A UK-based Chartered Marketer, writer and filmmaker originally from Guwahati, Hiramoni has spent over 20 years in the UK. She has created multiple documentary series and short films exploring Assamese life in the diaspora, and is a regular London Diary columnist for The Assam Tribune, as well as a contributor to India Today NE.
