Initiatives of Change United Kingdom Initiatives of Change UK is a small charity that aims to make a big difference. Initiatives of Change is active in over 60 countries, including the UK.

Inspired by the Christian Gospel, we are a grant-making charity that supports impactful initiatives promoting reconciliation, peace with justice and ethical leadership. Initiatives of Change is a global movement of people who are changing the world for the better, starting with themselves. We inspire, equip and connect people to address world needs. Our work focuses on:

- Ethical leadership: deve

loping a leadership culture based on moral integrity, compassion and selfless service.

- Sustainable living: working for economic justice and environmental sustainability through the transformation of motives and behaviour.

- Trust building through honest conversation and forgiveness. Our mission is to inspire, equip and connect people to play their part in building a better society.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Westlake as our new Executive Director, who joined us on 16 March.

David brings over 35 years of leadership experience across UK and international charities, including leading organisational growth, building strategic partnerships, and driving impactful global initiatives. We are excited for the vision, insight, and energy he brings to this next chapter.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Denis, who will step down in April after two years of dedicated leadership. His wisdom, integrity, and steady guidance have strengthened our foundations and helped shape the organisation for the future.
