Tickets now on sale for this year's Shakespeare in the Park: A Midsummer Night's Dream ✨️

Running from Wednesday 22nd - Saturday 25th July, you can book yourself a rug or chair zone (rugs and chairs not provided) in the beautiful Italian Gardens of Cannizaro Park, Wimbledon.

You can bring your own picnic or enjoy a selection of drinks and snacks from the onsite bar while the cast transport you to the spellbound forest of this beloved comedy.

Introducing...the magical cast of A Midsummer Night's Dream! ✨

We can't wait to start rehearsals for our 15th Annual Shakespeare in Cannizaro Park. A huge thank you to everyone who auditioned, there was so much talent on display 💖

Join us this summer as we present one of Shakespeare's most beloved comedies featuring lovers escaping to the woods, a troupe of players, and lots of magic! 🧚‍♂️

We've got chills!! So proud of our Grease cast & crew for winning NODA's Kathleen Oyler district award for chorus work 👏🏼🥳

Also a huge shout out to Toby Chapman for best male character in his portrayal as Danny Zuko 😎

Awards are not why we pour our hearts and souls into productions like these, but it's a lovely moment to reflect and take time to recognise one another ✨️

Excited to announce the masterminds behind this year's summer Shakespeare production: A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Director: Benjamin Chamberlain
Ben has a long history with Shakespeare, having founded and directed the Canterbury Shakespeare Festival from 2014 - 2018 whilst at university. More recently he has produced 4 seasons of Theatre in the Garden at the Actors’ Church, an outdoor summer theatre season which has included many Shakespeares.

Producer/Production Manager: Ingrid Civet
Ingrid is delighted to be returning to the world of Shakespeare, having previously produced a version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the Canterbury Shakespeare Festival, and where she also worked closely with Ben in running the festival. Last year, she joined Mayhem Theatre for SUTTS and is thrilled to be back creating another show in this magical space.

We are thrilled to announce our magical 2026 season...

Our 15th Annual Shakespeare in the Park this July will be: A Midsummer Night's Dream! We're proud to be back at the beautiful Italian Gardens at Cannizaro Park to present one of Shakespeare's best-loved comedies... with just a touch of magic! Our Creative Team will be announced shortly, and the audition pack will go live very soon so keep your eyes peeled. 👀

And our Autumn musical is ✨️ Wonderland ✨️ This cult musical, based on the classic tales of Alice in Wonderland, had its Broadway run in 2011 and a short UK tour in 2017. We're pleased to be one of the first London AmDram groups to perform this show, which includes music by Frank Wildhorn (Bonnie & Clyde). Featuring characters you know and love with a modern twist, this show is set to be the perfect (tea) party to cap off Mayhem's 20th Year 🥳

We're beating the winter blues as we prepare for our 2026 summer shows which will both take place in the beautiful Italian Gardens of Cannizaro Park in Wimbledon. We are looking for the creative/production teams for:

☀️ 30-31 May: Songs Under the Summer Sun - our fun, family-friendly musical theatre concert
🎭 21-25 July: Shakespeare in the Park (show TBC)

If you're interested in bringing either of these shows to the open-air stage, then we want to hear from you! Whether you're an individual, or team, all you need to do is register your interest by midnight Saturday 31st January.
