For those of you who have visited our hospice, Teresa will be a familiar face. As the supervisor of our on-site Coffee Shop, she’s always serving up delicious creations while planning her next fundraising challenge in support of our hospice! 💙

Most recently, Teresa took on the London 2 Brighton 100KM Ultra Challenge during the May heatwave, no less! An incredible achievement, and thanks to her determination and support from others, she has raised more than £3,000.

She truly stepped up for St John’s! 👏

As part of Step Up for St John’s, colleagues across the hospice and St John & St Elizabeth Hospital have been forming teams and creating some healthy competition!

A huge shoutout to The Crew in Blue 💙, pictured here, who have collectively walked and/or run an incredible 412 miles and raised more than £2,000 so far, and we’re only on day 10 of the challenge. Amazing effort!

Every step taken and every pound raised helps support the vital care we provide to patients and families in our community.

Join our virtual challenge and walk or run 30 miles. Whether it’s your daily commute, a walk in the park, or a weekend run, every mile you complete will help support patients and families when they need it most 💙.

Take part on your own, with your friends and family (participants under 18 must sign up alongside an adult) or with your colleagues!

If you're taking part:

Join us on Thursday 18 June (6 - 9 pm), in our beautiful gardens for an evening of drinks, canapés and community, as we raise funds for the wellbeing services that are at the heart of our holistic care.

These services are only possible thanks to the generosity of our supporters. By attending our Summer Garden Party, you’ll be helping ensure they continue to thrive and grow.

Thanks to the kindness of our generous donors, we’ve been able to bring back a much-loved programme with City of London Sinfonia, centred around art and music for patients visiting our Wellbeing Centre 🎨🎵💙.

Their musicians have once again been working closely alongside our Art Facilitator, Helen, to deliver these therapeutic sessions that combine live improvised music with collaborative art-making, creating a space where our patients can relax, express themselves, and connect with others.

Music fills the room while participants paint, draw, sing along, or simply listen, with every session shaped by the people taking part that day!
