Meet Miss Earth Nigeria 2026, Suoyo Mercy 👑🌿

From growing up in the Niger Delta and feeding off the mangroves to standing as the newly crowned Silver Jubilee Queen, Mercy Suoyo’s journey has always been rooted in purpose.

For Mercy, environmental restoration isn’t just a project, it’s personal. Through her flagship initiative “Roots of Resilience,” she is championing community-led mangrove restoration to safeguard ecosystems, shorelines, and coastal livelihoods.

Her advocacy began in 2021 as Miss Earth Air Nigeria, working alongside environmental non-profits to protect these vital habitats. Fast forward to 2026, and this year’s theme “Love in Action” feels like her exact calling.

Mercy is proving that true love for our planet starts on the ground, and she’s ready to bring the voice of Nigeria’s mangroves to the global stage💚

Happy independence Day Nigeria
