We spent a fabulous weekend at Weston Super Mare at the same time as raising funds for Alzheimer's at the High chief Ranger's ball. It is the Forester charity this year (as well as our own Court charity). Our members enjoyed the evening and the lovely weather and sandy beach.

At the end of our April Court meeting we changed officers and our Chief Ranger Angela installed the new Chief Ranger, Frank. Good luck to the new committee who will serve for the coming year.

Our members & guests had a great time on the fixed boat Tereza Joanne, opposite the runway for London City Airport yesterday. We enjoyed a two-course meal and a Tom Jones tribute act to entertain us. With a well-stocked bar and plenty of space for dancing, plus a great view of the London skyline and the planes taking off in between the entertainment, it made for a fun day out. And for most members with a freedom pass it didn’t even cost anything to get there.

Such an amazing photo of our lovely member, Norman Kwintner, celebrating his 100th birthday today. He always brightens up our Court meetings when he is able to attend with his wife Betty and we wish him many more happy celebrations and birthdays. Lots of love and congratulations from us all.

The Foresters Southern Conference in Southsea last weekend was brilliantly organised thanks to Linda Levett and everyone involved. The High Chief Ranger Gail was able to wish us a Happy St. David's Day on Sunday. The Saturday evening dinner and quiz was very enjoyable and we were able to pass on a framed copy of the Loyal Greeting from Ken Demby's family to the Heritage archives. A great time was had by all.

Our next adventure will be on the Tereza Joanne boat in London's docklands with a Tom Jones tribute act and two course lunch next month. Looking forward to seeing lots of our members there.
