What have the LGBC team been up too? …!!! 💗☀️✨

From Porto, Devon & France to Bakewell and Kent… our lovely team have been having the loveliest summer relaxing and reading and we hope you’ve all been having the loveliest summer too!!! ✈️📚🍦

✨Jess Jess one of our lovely coords has been on family trips & performing in a summer cabaret 🎭
✨Ana one of our lovely guest reviewers has been reading, meeting up with some LGBC gals to watch the eclipse, writing poetry & discovering new bookshops 📚
✨Amy Amy Gee one of our lovely coords has been bookshopping Bad Girl Books (romantasy-only bookshop) & making book charms 🥰
✨Jas jas ✨🌷 our amazing creative has been paragliding in France !!! 🇫🇷
✨Han our socials & design queen has been reading amongst the Kent vineyards ☕️📖
✨Caitlin Caitlin Curry our founder has been camping, eating lots of ice cream & trying to relax whilst planning lots of exciting LGBC adventures for us all 👀💗

Last night we had the loveliest Iceland reunion with some of the gals from our book club & WeRoad | Group travels trip back in February! 🇮🇸🥹💗

Lots of the girls sadly couldn’t make it last minute because of work but we still had the BEST time catching up over delicious waffles & crêpes from Wafflemeister Wimbledon and of course a book swap!!!!📚✨

Charlotte is moving and kindly donated lots of her books to the Wafflemeister Wimbledon bookshelf too! 😆📚

This is honestly one of our favourite things about our LGBC trips & retreats…you arrive not knowing anyone but you leave with the loveliest new bookish friends and people you’re still seeing months later!! We always arrange reunions following our trips and retreats & it’s so lovely to see everyone again! 🥹💗📚

We’ve got more trips being planned AND our retreat is just around the corner in October with only 3 spots left… 👀🌿📚

Come and make some new lovely friends (who love books just as much as you!) and amazing memories with us!!! ✨

A trip full of reading, spotting cute giraffe & elephant families and trying to properly switch off!!!! 🥹📚🦒🐘✨

I know lots of you said you wanted to see what we were getting up to over summer when we told you we’d be taking a little break from the club throughout August!!!! It’s honestly been SO hard to switch off because I’m always full of ideas and wanting to plan events for us all 24/7 lol (thank you adhd 🤣)

So here’s a lill peek at part of my safari trip, where I tried to completely switch off and got lots of reading in too!! 📚🥰✨

Feeling SO lucky to have experienced this magic and the book line up definitely made it even better 📚🦒✨

I miss you all lots and can’t wait to catch up soon. Thank you for allowing us to have this little summer break as a club… I hope you’ve all been enjoying it too!! 🥰❤️
