Wandsworth Care Alliance

We are an independent local charity that aims to give people the opportunity to be involved in the development of local health and social care services, empowering and supporting the people we work with to have an effective voice in the community. We operate and manage a number of service user involvement projects as well as working to establish and support some self-governing, self-directing service user and community led organisations.

Today, Healthwatch England launches a national survey to understand what happens when people leave hospital.

Were you discharged when you felt ready? Did you receive the right information and support? Were there delays, or did you find that care, equipment or follow-up arrangements weren't in place?

Your experience matters. By sharing what happened, you can help Healthwatch England raise patient and carer experiences with national decision-makers, including the NHS and Government.

The survey is open from 17th August to 9th October 2026.
