Happy birthday to our legend Skip! (And its a big birthday this one!)
His been with the 23rd since aged 8 at Cubs. Some....years later his still with us, and we are grateful for every moment given to us now and times gone by. Imagine how many young persons life's his had an influence in across Camberwell and beyond!

Happy birthday, Skip. Thank you for all you do.

It's our birthday, Scouts! 🎉 🥳 ✨

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌

Scouts broke up for the summer last night with a games night. Pool, table tennis, board games and arts and crafts. A fun relaxed last troop night!

Scouts have spent the last few weeks working on international aspects of different badges all linked to the World Cup.
A fun sweepstake was drawn, each Scout picking a different team to follow and cheer for the competition. Then, for their country, they drew their flags, learnt 3 phrases in their language, and something about something from their country. All this is then turned into our own world cup bunting hung around the HQ.
A great few weeks, really engaging and informative....just a shame about the actual World Cup!!

This time last week at Camberwell Arts Festival we were serving free cake! Cakes donated by Lumberjack Coffee like previous years and went down a treat!

During Scouts on Monday this week, we were visited by four Young Researchers from Groundwork London. Each Scout took a few moments to complete a survey about the local area, interests and hobbies and how they feel improvements could be made.
We love being youth led inside and outside of Scouts!

We have award winning dogs at the 23rd!
A Cub and a Scout both entered their dogs into the Camberwell Dog Show. A series of wins across the categories resulting in happy members and dogs 🤣.
There was no favouritism in the judging we will add!!
Literally everyone is welcome at the 23rd Camberwell!!
