From climate justice and education rights to LGBTQIA+ visibility and ending period poverty, young people are already leading change – and we’re here to amplify their voices and help them go further, together.
The WOW Young Leaders Directory is a global community of 170 girls, young women and non-binary young people aged 11–25 taking action on the issues that matter to them.
Today, that community includes 170 Young Leaders around the world, with young people from Commonwealth countries including Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, India, Kenya, Malawi, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Singapore, South Africa, Uganda, UK and Zambia – as well as other countries across six continents!
The Directory offers opportunities for these brilliant young people to be seen and heard, while connecting across borders, exchanging ideas and building solidarity. Some have gone on to speak at WOW Festivals and beyond as well as becoming mentors for the next generation.
Young people aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow. They’re already leading.
