WOW - Women of the World WOW - Women of the World is a global alliance of partners, driving an equal and inclusive future for women, girls and non-binary people.

Our impact is delivered through festivals, events, leadership programmes and knowledge sharing. WOW – Women of the World festival is a global movement launched by Jude Kelly CBE at Southbank Centre London in 2010, celebrating women, girls and non-binary people looking at the obstacles that stop them from achieving their potential. To date, WOW has reached over two million people worldwide. The WOW

Foundation produces WOW festivals across the world to celebrate women, girls and non-binary people, take a frank look at what prevents them from achieving their potential, and raise awareness globally of the issues they face and possible solutions. It is the biggest, most comprehensive and most significant festival dedicated to promoting gender equality. WOW Festivals are presented by arrangement with Southbank Centre.

We'll hear testimonies of courage, resistance and survival, while our panel of journalists and experts share the news stories from Afghanistan they most want the world to read.

The conversation will be chaired by Rukhshana Media founder Zahra Joya, joined by journalist Amie Ferris-Rotman and feminist activist Sahar Fetrat.

We're delighted to be hosting Say Something, an interactive workshop with Comotion exploring how to lead in ways that feel authentic, intentional and true to who you are.

Over 90 minutes, participants will explore a practical framework for values-led leadership, helping them to:
• Get clearer on what matters most
• Recognise where their voice and influence already exist
• Build connections that support meaningful change
• Leave with practical actions they can apply in everyday life

You don't need to be in a formal leadership role to make an impact. If you care about your community, your work or the world around you, this session is for you.

Join us at the Southbank Centre from 5–7 March 2027 for three unforgettable days of inspiring conversations, performances, workshops, comedy, music and community.

For the very first time, Gisèle Pelicot and Tarana Burke will come together in conversation, hosted by WOW Founder Jude Kelly. Marking 10 years since and the paperback publication of A Hymn to Life, they'll explore justice, testimony, survival and what it takes to build a world where justice is possible.

Alongside this landmark event, WOW Day Passes are available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each day gives you access to an incredible programme exploring everything from climate justice and disability rights to technology, youth activism, s*x, finance and more. This year, WOW will also bring together Shameless! and Boys and Men as part of the festival programme for the first time.

Meet the five incredible curators from across South Asia who are bringing their programmes and ideas onto WOW 365.

Expect conversations and artist-led experiences on everything from activism to masculinity, explorations into the past and and easing anxiety about the future – and so much more.

WOW festivals and events have been taking place in South Asia for a decade (WOW Pakistan actually celebrated their 10 year anniversary this year). Now WOW 365 members all over the world can deep dive into ideas and learn from the women and girls in the region – and experience a taste of what WOWs in Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan feel like.
