🐶 Sushi and Miso 🐶

Another gorgeous duo have arrived, and arent they stunning! Sushi (6 yrs, female, left) and Miso (7 yrs, male, right) have come into our care after a marriage breakdown left their owner with a lot to manage. She felt unable to offer this duo the time and attention they deserve and made the difficult decision to rehome them. She shared that she was worried about them ending up in the wrong hands or being split up, and reached out to us for support as she felt this was the safest option for them. They’re both settling well into their foster home and appear to be a bonded pair in the true sense - they rely on one another for support, love to spend time together and will look for each other when apart. They will be assessed over the next couple of weeks and will be looking for a forever home where they can remain together.

🐶 Failed foster! 🤎

Isn’t this the best news to share! Our golden oldie Spaghetti (11 yrs, male) has got his foster mum wrapped around his little paws and she has formally requested to adopt him! Spaghetti came into our care earlier this summer as the children in his previous home were overwhelming him. He needed some TLC on arrival as he came with no belongings, his nails were overgrown and he was a little overweight. He’s now at a much healthier size and has been enjoying all the delights of his retirement - snoozing in the garden, trying lots of yummy treats and going for explores in his new pram every day.

Adopting a senior is often emotional, but it can be so rewarding. We may not have them for long, but it’s an absolute privilege to support them through their retirement and offer them kindness and love in their final years.

💜 Adopted! 💜

We had a lot of applications for this sweet little boy and want to thank everyone who applied or registered an interest. After meeting with several options, Haggis (2 yrs, male) has now been successfully matched with a lovely new family who have a pug of their own with a similar temperament - and who is incidentally the spitting image of Haggis too! Less than an hour after collecting him, they’d already messaged to say they were madly in love with their new arrival. Once he has settled in, they are excited to take him out exploring the local countryside and for lovely walks along the beach.

🏡 Could you foster a pug (or two!) in need? 🏡

Our foster carers provide valuable support to pugs in need, embracing them as part of their family and offering them a safe and supportive space in their home environment. Fostering can be challenging, we often know very little about the dogs coming into our care - but it can absolutely be rewarding too. Seeing a dog come into our care anxious and nervous, to watching them leave confident and full of sass, knowing that you helped them on their journey.

If you’d like to apply to be a foster carer, all we ask is that you are home through the day and are ready to embrace the unknown. You will need to be able to commit to looking after a pug for a full 6 week period, putting their needs first and working through any challenges you face.

💜 Adopted! 💜

This handsome boy (and his favourite ball!) has been adopted this week and we’re so pleased for him. Gnocchi (5 yrs, male) came into our care needing a little TLC. As well as having a few sores over his body, his breathing was strained and he was confirmed to be in need of BOAS surgery. With thanks to your kind donations, he has had his surgery and been signed off by the vet. His new family are really excited to welcome him and are already planning dog friendly camping trips where he can chase his ball along the beach (and maybe enjoy a little puppycino afterwards!). We can’t wait to see updates on his journey.

🐶 Cheese and Pickle 🐶

Double trouble has arrived! Cheese (6 yrs, male, fawn) and Pickle (6 yrs, female, black) have come into our care recently as their owner has been unwell. She’d been trying to rehome them through another organisation for several months but had no luck, and by chance came across our charity and asked for our help. Whilst we don’t normally take on mixed breed pugs, there was some confusion about their heritage as their owner had been told they are both full pug. Our guess is that they might be a jug mix given their slightly longer jaws and sassy personalities! We will be assessing them over the next two weeks to see how they interact with one another. They will also need a little TLC and support with their training whilst in our care as their nails are quite long and they seem uncertain (and quite vocal!) when out on walks.

🏝️ POSTPONED - Pugchella 2026 🏝️

The team organising Pugchella 2026 have made the decision to postpone the event from 9 August 2026 to 23 August 2026 due to concerns that the weather will be too hot for our precious pugs. Anyone with existing tickets should have had an email to confirm the change in date. If you’re no longer able to attend, please contact the event organisers to chat.

We will keep our raffle prizes at the ready and see you on 23 August! 🐶🐾

💜 Adopted! 💜

Look who’s been adopted! Popcorn (6 yrs, male) came into our care needing a little extra support and space to decompress after spending the majority of his life crated in a home that didn’t want him. He took a few days to come out of his shell, but he has definitely blossomed in his foster home! He’s cheeky, playful, and loves to sunbathe in the garden. His new family are both well placed to help him transition into their home and have the skills to support him as he learns that life can be kind.

We’ve had a busy weekend and are pleased to share that our pretty little princess Cannoli (5 yrs, female) has now been adopted! This lovely lady came into our care needing a little TLC due to some sores on her body. We’ve been treating these daily with medicated cream and a healthy diet and are pleased to share that they are healing really well. Her new family are already besotted with her! They have shared that they are looking forward to spending the summer holidays showing her around her new home, playing ball in the local parks and taking her away to their beach caravan when she’s feeling safe and settled.

🐾 Adopt me 🐾

Macaroni (8 yrs, male) is now ready to find his forever home. This handsome fella is a playful and cheeky boy, who loves human attention and will spend his days following you around the house. He would prefer a calmer home, with adults or older children, where someone is around to keep him company through the day. He likes the outdoors and would love a garden of his own to explore and relax in! We think he would do well in a home with one other pug companion of a similar age to him. He can be nervous when meeting new dogs, and on walks he might be a little noisy letting everyone know he is there, but with gentle exposure and regular walks his confidence has already improved.
