It is with great sadness that we share the news that Councillor Annie Gallop, our Labour councillor for Myatts Field ward passed away on Sunday.

Annie fought to make politics accessible to everyone and led by example to remove barriers to opportunity.

Family, friends and colleagues are mourning the loss of Annie, but we are also sharing the memories of her laughter, her kindness and her passion for life.

Our thoughts are with Annie’s family at this time.

The success of the events to date has been incredible bringing together the skills, talents and commitment of 'fixer volunteers' consisting of 154 local residents!

In 2023, 972 local people attended the events, preventing 304 kg of waste and preventing 2719 kg of CO2 emissions (the equivalent of growing 45 tree seedlings for 10 years!).

What do they offer?
▪️Waste reduction.
▪️Sharing skills.
▪️Community cohesion.
