The set up is open mic and even open instrument. Soul Sounds is a monthly event where young people come together to enjoy some sometimes tranquil and sometimes very rocking Bhajans. Anyone can play, sing or clap to the beat and everyone is welcome. Due to this informal nature, each month is different as there are never 2 events where the music or musicians are exactly the same. This has meant that
an array of musical talent walks through the door and there can be people beat boxing, playing guitars and keyboards, as well as playing more traditional instruments like the tabla, harmonium and the Indian flute. It is something to experience and is creatively unique due to the collation of music and the devotion with which it is played. We welcome you to come and share your devotion or simply to experience some contemporary Sounds of the Soul.
