*Invitation | The Annual Gathering of Palestinian Students in the UK*
The General Union of Palestinian Students – UK Branch (GUPS-UK) is pleased to invite you to its Annual Gathering, a signature event that brings together Palestinian students and alumni from Jerusalem, Gaza, the West Bank, the occupied territories, and the diaspora, across all academic disciplines and levels of study.
This gathering serves as an official kickoff of a new term for GUPS-UK where the Union will present its vision for the year ahead and outline its plans to expand student services in response to current challenges, taking into account students’ evolving academic, geographic, and living needs.
Moreover, it will be a space for connection, solidarity, and community-building, strengthening both academic and social ties among Palestinian students in the United Kingdom.
The event will feature a formal welcome to students recently evacuated from Gaza, with the participation of key partners who played an essential role in facilitating their safe arrival to the UK, alongside Palestinian academics and community leaders. We will also warmly welcome new students arriving from cities and towns across Palestine, in support of their integration into their new academic and social environments.

يدعوكم الاتحاد العام لطلبة فلسطين – فرع المملكة المتحدة إلى حضور اللقاء السنوي، والذي يجمع الطلبة والخريجين الفلسطينيين من القدس وغزة والضفة الغربية والداخل المحتل والشتات، من مختلف التخصصات والدرجات الأكاديمية. ويأتي هذا اللقاء في إطار تعزيز التواصل الأكاديمي والاجتماعي بين الطلبة الفلسطينيين.
وسيتضمن اللقاء فقرة ترحيب رسمية بالطلبة الذين تم إجلاؤهم من غزة مؤخراً، وبحضور الجهات الفاعلة التي بذلت جهوداً كبيرة لضمان وصولهم الآمن إلى المملكة المتحدة وأكاديمين فلسطينية ذو خبرات وفاعلين في المملكة.
كما سيشمل اللقاء ترحيباً بالطلبة الجدد القادمين من مختلف المدن والبلدات الفلسطينية، دعماً لاندماجهم في محيطهم الأكاديمي الجديد، وتقديراً للتجارب والخبرات المتنوعة التي يحملونها معهم.
وسيقدّم الاتحاد خلال اللقاء رؤيته للعام القادم، إلى جانب مناقشة خطته لتوسيع نطاق خدماته بما يسهّل على الطلبة تجاوز التحديات الراهنة، وبما ينسجم مع التوزيع الجغرافي الجديد واحتياجات الطلبة الأكاديمية والمعيشية.
ومن المقرر عقد اللقاء في السابع من يناير، من الساعة الرابعة حتى الثامنة في مدينة لندن - فندق DoubleTree by Hilton.
