💚🤍SAMBA. COMMUNITY. SOLIDARITY. 🇧🇷🇨🇴

This weekend, we were proud to come together in support of Children Change Colombia, performing as part of a special fundraising event supporting children and communities in Colombia affected by the recent earthquake.

And what an event it was!

More than 20 performances brought together dancers, singers, musicians and artists, all sharing their talent for one important cause.

This is what community is about.

Coming together. Supporting one another. Sharing our art. Using music and dance to make a difference.

A huge thank you to everyone who performed, organised, supported and donated, and to for the important work they continue to do.

We were proud to bring a little LSS samba energy to such a meaningful event. 💚🤍

We're reposting this epic picture in its entirety - our bateria honouring Rhaune Laslett, one of the key founders of Notting Hill Carnival.

Laslett organised an outdoor festival in Notting Hill in 1966 to promote unity amongst the different ethnic and cultural groups in the area. This, with the help of many others including Claudia Jones and Russ Henderson, evolved into the Notting Hill Carnival we see today.

Our bateria wore her name across their football uniforms in tribute.

Long live Notting Hill Carnival 💚🤍
