As a treat as the days get colder, rainier and generally more autumnal, we thought it was time for a movie night!

We will be screening Coco in the school hall straight after school on Wednesday 14 October.

Pick up will be at 5:15pm from the school.

Tickets are £8 per child and include a chicken hot dog, popcorn and a drink. They are on sale at the following SumUp link (also linked in our bio): https://pay.sumup.com/b2c/Q0PFG9V6

It may feel early, but shops are already stocking Christmas merchandise and Ocado and M&S Christmas food slots are filling up!

And so, we are sending home our Christmas card design templates, which will magically appear in your child’s bag this week, courtesy of the elves (usually known as the class teachers).

If you would like to order cards, mugs, gift wrap and tags, notebooks, playing cards or other items featuring your child’s artwork, please ask them to draw, paint, collage and otherwise create their design on A5 or A4 and attach it to the form. Forms should be returned to your class teacher no later than FRIDAY 16 OCTOBER. That is to make sure you get your cards in time for them to be written and sent for Christmas.

Orders should be placed with Cauliflower BEFORE the form is returned. We’ve included links below for further information on artwork and ordering, and a letter will be coming out by email with full details.

The school gets a percentage for each order placed, so this helps with school funding, as well as giving you beautiful cards and gifts for the festive season:

It’s just one week now until the Mary Mags International Food Fair! It’s a wonderful celebration of the many different cultures and cuisines that make up our fabulous school community.

You’ll have the chance to try dishes from Malta, South Africa, India, Brazil and many more. Each stall will exchange a dish for a token, that can be bought at the entrance.

There will also be kids activities and a raffle for two delicious food hampers.

Tickets are available through a SumUp link (in bio). Be there or be hungry!

It’s autumn, it’s a Friday…it must be coming up to BAKE SALE TIME!

We are kicking off our class bake sales with Year 6, who will be baking and buying a bounty of NUT FREE treats for us all to buy this Friday 25 September in the playground at pick up.

All proceeds will go to class teachers to spend on materials and activities for their class.

Welcome all at Mary Mags to the start of the 2026/27 school year!

We hope you all had a wonderful summer and are feeling refreshed and ready for the new term.

If you’re anything like us, you may have a bit of an autumn clear out. Did anyone in your household outgrow any uniform over the summer? Do you have any uniform you’d like to pass on? If so, we would love it!

Please drop any second hand uniform, clean and in a condition you would wear yourself, either to the school office or the community room between Monday 21 and Thursday 24 September.

We will then be running a second hand uniform sale at pick up on Friday 25 September so everyone at St Mary Mags can be ‘dressed for success’ right from the start!
