🌟This week's is the one and only Manni, who didn't just run the London Marathon...he ran it in style as Optimus Prime! 🤖🏃‍♂️💥

This was Manni's 9th and every year he wears a different costume. This year's incredible self-made 3D-printed Optimus Prime absolutely blew us away! 🤩 He even printed The Salvation Army logo onto the arm of the costume – how cool is that?! ❤️

But the most impressive part? Manni fundraised an amazing £2,200+ to support our services, helping us break the cycle and be there for people who need us most across the UK.

A huge thank you, Manni, for your creativity, your determination, and your incredible support. You're a true superstar! 🌟👏❤️

Katy from Nunhead Salvation Army and Emma from St Mary Cray Salvation Army are taking on the London Marathon 2027 - and we couldn’t be more excited to have them join the team! ❤️💙

✨The is set to be extra special as it becomes a two-day event, with runners taking on the iconic 26.2 miles on both Saturday and Sunday. We can’t wait to cheer Katy and Emma on as they take part in this incredible experience and run in support of The Salvation Army! 🏅

Katy and Emma will be fundraising for Starfish, The Salvation Army’s schools mentoring programme, supporting young people and helping them thrive. 🌟

❤️ This week's is the incredible Amelia, who absolutely smashed the 2026 with Team Sally Army! 🏃‍♀️

Amelia brought so much enthusiasm, positivity and determination. And honestly…that smile says it all! 😊✨

Despite joining the team later in the year and having less time than the rest of the team to , Amelia didn’t let that stop her. She went above and beyond, raising an incredible £2,400 to support The Salvation Army’s vital services helping people experiencing homelessness across the UK 🙌

Amelia chose to run for The Salvation Army after experiencing the kindness and support of one of our local groups during a challenging time. Following the birth of her son, she found comfort, connection and friendship through the Salvation Army Stay and Play group:

💬 “I was a little broken, lonely, and overwhelmed. I felt mentally and physically unable to cope with exercise, but I forced myself to socialise and join local groups. One of these was The Salvation Army's Stay and Play group on a Thursday morning.”

Congratulations Amelia on an amazing achievement! And thank you for be a Team Sally Army champion!👏❤️
