🎭 We had an amazing time at the Aviva corporate event! Together, we created colourful carnival masks for our upcoming Carnival Disco, with the finished masks set to be sold at our Friday Night Social as a fundraising activity for Centre 404.

The creativity and enthusiasm on display were amazing, and our service users loved the opportunity to get involved.

Service users from across our services came together for a fun-filled day of games, activities, and friendly competition.

A special thank you to our corporate volunteers, Star Lizards, who helped set up, join in the fun, and present medals to participants.

Your enthusiasm and support helped make the day one to remember!

We are proud to stand alongside Learning Disability England and more than 1,900 organisations and individuals calling for better healthcare and fairer health outcomes for people with learning disabilities.

We were especially proud that one of our service users, Chris, attended the hand-in of the open letter at Downing Street, representing and helping to advocate for meaningful change and equal access to quality healthcare for all. đź’™ You can watch Chris speaking about why this work is so important below.

What a brilliant Summer Disco!

With great music, fun games, prizes, colourful decorations and nearly 50 service users in attendance, the evening was full of laughter and joy. Seeing everyone enjoying the garden, chatting with friends and celebrating together made it a truly special day.

What a fantastic afternoon at our Garden Group Tea Party! Celebrating International Friendship Day, we welcomed so many guests for an event suggested and organised by our Garden Group members.

A huge thank you to our volunteers and Garden Group members for the delicious cakes, fruit and treats, and to Danny DJ for keeping the garden filled with summer hits.

We shared heartfelt speeches, beautiful poetry and shared stories about friendship, family and the importance of Centre 404. We ended the day singing All You Need Is Love and dancing together in the sunshine. 🌞

Our accessible North London venue is available to hire for meetings, workshops, away days, community activities and family celebrations.

This includes excellent transport links, outdoor areas and accessible facilities. Best of all, every booking supports our charity's work for people with learning disabilities, autism and their families.

Being recognised in this way is a huge achievement, and we're incredibly proud of the dedication, passion and hard work that our team brings every day to support people with learning disabilities and their families.

Meet Sarah, Head of Independent Living and Specialist Services 

Over 10 years at Centre 404, Sarah has supported the growth of our services and helped guide teams through both challenges and achievements. 

💬 “I’m motivated by the people we support, my amazing colleagues and helping others achieve their goals.” 

Meet Shillah, Operations Manager – Independent Living and Specialist Services 

Shillah joined Centre 404 in 2017 as a Support Worker within one of our housing projects. Through dedication and development opportunities, she progressed to Deputy Project Manager and now leads as Operations Manager.

Meet Javed, Head of Quality and Training 

Javed joined Centre 404 in 2014 as a Project Manager for Mildmay & Outreach Services. Since then, he has progressed through different roles, becoming Quality & Training Manager before taking on his current leadership role.
