This beautiful garden and community centre, an oasis of green in the heart of bustling Kings Cross has had a large chunk of their funding cut by the local council

Money for overheads, key workers, maintenance of the grounds etc, have gone. Act now and join the campaign to save it for future generations -like this FB page and we will keep you up-to-date of how you can help.

We will be celebrating Sukkot next week at Calthorpe! Please come along to find out more about the Jewish festival of Sukkot.

This “Sukkot Shalom” (“Shelter of Peace”) event brings together diverse communities across the borough.

A Sukkah is a temporary, open structure symbolising hospitality (hachnasat orchim), vulnerability, and the welcoming of strangers. By aligning Jewish traditions with Camden Council’s commitment to community cohesion, sanctuary, and interfaith dialogue, this initiative fosters deep cross-cultural connections.

The Sukkah will be open to members of the public to visit and find out more about the significance of the festival, how it is celebrated and to explore themes of welcome, community and belonging.

Our Folk Fire Circles are back next week!

Come and get cosy by the fire on Wednesday evenings at Calthorpe from 6PM -9PM. We encourage musicians, poets and artists to share in this intimate circle around the fire. But feel free to come along as a spectator.

Our b**r garden and jacket potato club will also be running on these evenings!

As the evenings get longer and cooler we will be serving mulled drinks and look out for some spooky workshops 🔥🦇👻💀

In and amongst our jam packed weekend of activities we have our monthly flea market. Perfect for students that have just moved to the neighbourhood looking for a bargain. As well as our regulars of course!
