This beautiful garden and community centre, an oasis of green in the heart of bustling Kings Cross has had a large chunk of their funding cut by the local council

Money for overheads, key workers, maintenance of the grounds etc, have gone. Act now and join the campaign to save it for future generations -like this FB page and we will keep you up-to-date of how you can help.

Next Wednesday Calthorpe will be having a kid’s festival for our final summer folk circle.

We will be celebrating the children who have been attending our holiday programme and the skills they have picked up along the way. The children will also be running the production of the evening’s events.

We will be running a free BBQ for families and friends. There will be a showcase of children’s artwork including some incredible identity puppets they have created.

The community folk circle will also be taking place during these hours. Any children onsite after 7pm must be accompanied by an adult.

This Wednesday 19th August for our Folk Fire Circle at Calthorpe we have the brilliant Michael Holland facilitating a workshop for the children.

(As we are following government guidelines, we won’t be lighting the fire but will continue to sing songs, read stories and enjoy the garden into the evening)
