We are here to Protect, Guide & Support. 🧡💜

PROTECT — Staying present, alert and using environmental awareness to recognise potential risks and help keep our young people safe.

GUIDE — Using conflict resolution and de escalation skills to help young people navigate difficult situations and make positive choices.

SUPPORT — Building relationships, listening, encouraging aspirations and helping young people access the guidance and opportunities they need to move forward.

The Family Builds. The Guardians Protect. Together We Strengthen Communities. 🖤💜🧡

Yesterday’s Croydon patrol was a powerful example of what this means in practice.

Forever Family builds.
Through training, mentorship, guidance, opportunities, and a strong network of people committed to rebuilding our communities, FF provides a foundation of strength, knowledge, and support.

The Guardians protect.
CCAG takes that strength directly into the community through consistent patrols, community engagement, duty of care and positive interaction with our young people.

Our patrols are about much more than walking the streets. We speak to people. We listen to concerns. We build relationships. We check in with local services and businesses. We engage with young people and look at where we can offer support, guidance and opportunities.

Yesterday we saw the strength of those relationships. Young people we have engaged with over time were genuinely happy to see us. We sparred, we spoke about training and opportunities, and throughout the patrol we had members of the community stopping to speak with us and showing real appreciation for our presence.

The support of Forever Family strengthens CCAG and strengthens every patrol. It gives us access to a wider family, more knowledge, more skills, more opportunities, and ultimately more ways to support the people we meet.

This is what community action looks like.

Building. Protecting. Engaging. Supporting.

Together we strengthen communities.

🧡💜 TOMORROW, WILL YOU STEP WITH US? 💜🧡

📅 TUESDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER

📍 MEETING POINT TO BE CONFIRMED ON OUR STORY TOMORROW

Tomorrow we step for ALL the young people we have lost too soon.

When another young life is taken, people come out.

We lay flowers.
We light candles.
We post R.I.P. on social media.
We say something needs to change.

But change requires more than words.

Who is really prepared to be part of the tangible solution?

Forever Family has been patrolling the streets of Croydon since 2020.

CCAG has been carrying out regular school time patrols since 2023.

Week after week. Volunteer led. Consistent. Present.

We patrol because we care.

We patrol because we want to actually see change.

We patrol because we refuse to wait until another young person loses their life before we come together.

Prevention means being present BEFORE something happens.

We engage.
We de escalate.
We intervene.
We mentor.
We protect.

Tomorrow we step for those we have lost.

But just as importantly, we step for the young people who are still here.

We step because we do not want another family grieving.

We step because we do not want another candlelit vigil.

We step because we as a community have the solutions, but solutions require ACTION.

So tomorrow, don't just support from behind a screen.

COME OUT AND STEP WITH US.

Engage with our young people.
Be visible.
Be proactive.
Be part of the solution.

CCAG patrollers are trained in delivering mentoring support, bringing a strong foundation of experience in youth engagement alongside valuable lived experience. This enables our team to genuinely relate to the young people we support, build trust, and provide meaningful, relatable guidance.

We work closely with young people to build skills, strengthen resilience, and empower them with the confidence to navigate life’s challenges. Our approach is rooted in understanding, connection and positive influence, meeting young people where they are and supporting their growth in a consistent and impactful way.

Croydon’s future matters, especially for our young people and the communities we love. That’s why we’re sharing our support for Michael Pusey MBE, a lifelong youth worker, mentor and community champion who’s stepping up as the mayoral candidate for the Taking the initiative Party in the 2026 Croydon election. 🗳️🌍

Known to many as DJ CK Flash, Michael has spent over two decades supporting young people through mentoring, grassroots projects, and community programmes, turning neglected spaces into places of opportunity. He’s talked about the importance of better facilities, more creative spaces, mentorship, and healthier programmes for our youth, as well as investing in local enterprise and community pride. 💡🎤🚴‍♂️

The Taking the Initiative Party emphasises practical solutions, transparency, and real local voices, aiming to give people a meaningful say in the future of our borough. 🏙️🤝
