Hi, welcome to Queen Mary's Music Society! We're made up of musicians both studying and working at QMUL, and run a number of ensembles who rehearse on a weekly basis, with performances at the end of each semester and a couple tucked in between. Hello everyone! It is that time of year again. It is ELECTION TIME!!!

If you want to be part of the MEMS committee 25/26, nominations are now open.

If you are interested in any of these roles, make yourself a manifesto and nominate yourself by visiting the Mile End Music Society page on the QMSU website, scrolling to the bottom, clicking on the elections tab and clicking on “Stand in election”. You will be prompted to fill out some information, including providing your manifesto.

Nominations close at 12pm on Wednesday the 26th of March, and voting opens at 12pm on the 31st of March.

MEMS CHARITY PUB QUIZ!

Bring your friends for Mile End Music Society’s pub quiz event to raise money for CDRF, a charity that funds gene research programs to discover the causes of chronic diseases 🧬.

Join us at Drapers on the 14th of March at 7:30 for an 8pm quiz start. We will be taking pay what you can donations upon entry, no tickets required. Prizes on offer for the winning team 🧠. The maximum team size is 6!

Congratulations to our two bands, Lower Ground and Maiden Voyage, who competed against 6 other bands from Imperial, City and LSE, and came 3rd and 1st respectively! 🥉🥇

Our bands were selected from 6 amazing bands that performed at our QM heat stage battle of the bands only 2 weeks prior.

We are so proud of everyone in our bands branch who took part. You were all incredible!🎸🤘🏼

As some of you will be aware Queen Mary is taking part in a battle of the bands against our peers at City University, Imperial College and LSE on the 29th of November at the Saw Swee Hock Centre.

The support for our first round in Drapers was fantastic so I hope to see you all there again for the final round supporting our very own .voyage.band and
