We have our first complete collection of UK patrol badges! Ewan from Kent has swapped and traded for 38 badges representing our 43 patrols at Roverway 2024!

A fantastic summer for international scouting in GLSW

This time last year we were wishing Bon voyage to our jamboree units. This weekend we have an incredible number of groups and units away on Summer camps.

Braggers Wood with Swedish and French scouts
Tolmers
Bristol
Lake District

Not to mention groups who will travel to Sweden and those participating in our Explorer belt as well.

Travel safely and we look forward to hearing about all your adventures on your return.

It’s not just groups going abroad - this week we were delighted to welcome groups from France and Sweden who have travelled to our Camp Auk today, taking place in Christchurch with several groups and units from GLSW hosting them. (credit Kenley Aces ESU & 7th/12th Croydon).

A busy day with lots of GLSW scouts taking part in international activities. 1st/27th & 23rd Croydon have headed off to the Netherlands, trading places with Arnhem scouts who are spending time in Croydon. Arnhem and Croydon have been twinned since 1985
