ALIGN’s new guide explores how gender norms shape access to education, learning outcomes and students’ experiences across contexts - and how education systems can help transform harmful norms.

Across eight modules, the guide looks at gender-transformative education, boys and masculinities, early childhood education, and the experiences of LGBTQI+ students. It includes practical entry points for action across policy, schools, teaching, curricula and community engagement.

The climate crisis does not affect everyone equally. This new piece explores how existing systems shape who is most exposed to climate harm and who has the power to respond.

IWDA makes the case for feminist climate justice: moving beyond helping women cope with climate impacts, towards changing the conditions that make those impacts unequal in the first place. That means transforming who holds power, where resources go, whose knowledge counts, and what our policies and economies are designed to prioritise.

📄 New from Save the Children UK and Debt Justice UK: Now is the Time to Act: Six Reforms for the G20 Common Framework for Debt Treatments.

The report sets out six practical reforms to the G20’s main mechanism for restructuring unsustainable sovereign debt. It argues that the Common Framework has failed to provide timely and adequate debt relief, leaving countries facing prolonged negotiations and uncertainty.

The recommendations aim to make debt restructuring faster, fairer and more effective, with action needed from G20 governments, including the UK, as well as the IMF and World Bank.

Displacement Is Reaching Record Levels.

New blog from Women for Women International outlines how more than 32 million new internal displacements linked to conflict and violence were recorded in 2025.
The article highlights the gendered realities behind these figures: displacement cuts women off from income, healthcare, education and support networks, while increasing risks of gender-based violence, exploitation and early marriage.
