The Palestinian Return Centre is an independent consultancy focusing on the historical, political, and legal aspects of the Palestinian Refugees. Since its founding in 1996, PRC has strived to defend the rights of Palestinian refugees, raise awareness of their plight and bring the issue of refugees back into the political agenda. PRC also aims to preserve Palestinian identity and culture, especially across Europe. PRC is an organisation in Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council since 2015. And it has been granted the status of an accredited NGO by the United Nations since 2003.

The Palestinian Return Centre joined a gathering in Istanbul on 26 September to discuss Palestinian National Council elections. Participants rejected appointments and electoral colleges, calling for free, direct and inclusive elections that allow Palestinians in Palestine and the diaspora to choose their representatives.

أطلق مركز العودة الفلسطيني حملة «صوتي قراري – لا للتعيين»، للمطالبة بانتخابات حرة ومباشرة وشاملة وشفافة للمجلس الوطني الفلسطيني، تتيح للفلسطينيين في الوطن والشتات اختيار ممثليهم. وتدعو الحملة إلى عدم تحويل التعيين والمجامع الانتخابية إلى بديل عن الاقتراع المباشر.

أصدر مركز العودة الفلسطيني تقريراً يبحث انتخابات المجلس الوطني الفلسطيني لعام 2026، ويناقش مدى توافق آليات اختيار الأعضاء في الشتات، بما فيها المجمعات الانتخابية والتعيين، مع مبدأ الانتخاب المباشر. ويدعو التقرير إلى وضع ضوابط واضحة وشفافة لاستخدام هذه الآليات عند تعذّر الاقتراع المباشر، بما يضمن تمثيلاً حقيقياً للفلسطينيين في الوطن والشتات.

At the UN Human Rights Council, the Palestinian Return Centre warned that pregnant women in Gaza are giving birth in tents and overcrowded shelters without adequate medical care. It called for sustained access to food, fuel, medicines and neonatal supplies, and urgent action to protect women and newborns across Gaza.

حذّر مركز العودة الفلسطيني أمام مجلس حقوق الإنسان من المخاطر التي تواجه الحوامل والمواليد الجدد في غزة. فالنساء يُضطررن إلى الولادة في خيام ومراكز إيواء مكتظة، غالباً بلا رعاية طبية متخصصة. ودعا المركز إلى إدخال الغذاء والوقود والأدوية ومستلزمات رعاية الحوامل والمواليد بصورة عاجلة ومستمرة لحماية حياتهم دون أي تأخير.
