🚀 From the Classroom to Royal Recognition 👑💻

Today, we’re incredibly proud to celebrate Parth, one of the talented young learners from our AI & Coding Programme.

During a visit by Her Majesty Queen Camilla to the Barking Learning Centre, Parth had the opportunity to present his IT project, showcasing the creativity, confidence and technical skills he has developed through his learning journey. In recognition of his achievement, he was also presented with an award by the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.

This is more than an individual achievement. It demonstrates what can happen when young people are given access to the right opportunities, guidance and support.

Through our AI & Coding Programme, children are not only learning technology skills; they are developing confidence, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and the belief that they can create, innovate and contribute to the world around them.

We are particularly passionate about ensuring that children from all backgrounds, especially those who may not otherwise have access to these opportunities, can explore technology, discover their potential and build skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

Parth’s achievement is a powerful reminder of the talent that exists within our communities and the importance of investing in young minds.

A special thank you to Future Youth Zone for providing a fantastic environment and resources that help make these opportunities possible, to Barking & Dagenham Borough for supporting initiatives that empower young people, and to our programme tutor and project lead, Arlídio, whose passion and expertise continue to inspire the next generation of innovators.

Congratulations, Parth. We are all incredibly proud of you, and this is only the beginning. 🌟

“What should staff actually do during a meltdown?”

This is one of the most common questions I get when delivering autism training.

A meltdown is not bad behaviour.
It’s not a child being “difficult.”

👉 It’s a response to overwhelm.

During a meltdown, the child is not in control in the way we might expect. This means typical responses like reasoning, questioning, or giving instructions can actually make things worse.

So what helps?

✔ Stay calm (your regulation matters)
✔ Use minimal language
✔ Reduce noise and stimulation
✔ Give space where possible

And just as important…

What happens before and after matters too.

Preparation, understanding triggers, and allowing recovery time can make a huge difference in preventing escalation.

This is exactly what we focus on in training—helping staff feel confident in those moments, not unsure.

If your team supports autistic children (or adults) and would benefit from practical strategies like this, feel free to reach out.

Not every woman finds her voice easily.
Some had to unlearn silence.
Some had to outgrow environments that kept them small.
Some had to choose themselves… over and over again.
This is for the women still becoming. 🌸

16/03/2026

We were proud to be invited to take part in a powerful event organised by Successful Mothers - Empower Her Voice, celebrating the strength, resilience, and impact of women from all backgrounds and communities. ✨
It was truly an honour for APT to be part of such an inspiring space. Supporting women and uplifting communities is at the heart of what we do at Alisar, and moments like these remind us why this work matters.
We look forward to continuing this journey and building meaningful collaborations that empower and support women across our communities. 💫

Women 4 Women is a programme where women come together to build ideas, grow businesses and support one another along the way.

It is a space shaped by shared experience, encouragement and the belief that no woman should have to build alone.
Whether you are starting with an idea or developing something already in motion, Women 4 Women offers a supportive environment where progress becomes possible — step by step and alongside other women on similar journeys.

If you have been thinking about building something of your own, this may be the right place to begin.

So many people in our community are working hard to provide for their families — and sometimes even a small amount of savings can make a huge difference.
That’s why I’ve created this post about Help to Save, a UK government scheme that gives people on Universal Credit or a low income a 50% bonus on the money they save.
Swipe through the slides to learn:
✨ How the scheme works
✨ Who can apply
✨ How the bonuses are paid
✨ And how it can help you build a small financial cushion
If you need help applying or understanding any step, I’m here to support you — you don’t have to do it alone. 💛🤝
Please share this with anyone who might benefit.

🚨 IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR OUR COMMUNITY 🚨

THE UK “10–30 YEAR ILR RULES” ARE NOT LAW — PLEASE READ & SHARE
There is a lot of panic spreading online — but here are the facts:

❗ NOTHING HAS CHANGED
The UK government (UK Home Office) has only released a White Paper + Public Consultation.
This is NOT law, and no ILR rules have changed.
A White Paper means:
• “These are the changes we plan to make.”
• “We want the public’s opinion first.”
A consultation means:
• The government is asking YOU for feedback
• Deadline to respond: 12 February 2026

📌 WHAT THE GOVERNMENT PROPOSED (NOT IN FORCE)
• ILR increased from 5 → 10 years
• 15-year route for some lower-skilled jobs
• 20-year route if public funds were used
• 30-year route for overstayers
• 3-year fast track for high earners & Global Talent
• 5-year ILR route kept for:
NHS workers
Public service workers
Families of British citizens
BN(O) visa holders
⚠️ These are ONLY proposals.
⚠️ Nothing has legally changed.
📌 WHAT THE LAW IS RIGHT NOW
✔ Skilled Worker ILR = 5 years
✔ Health & Care ILR = 5 years
✔ Family route still 2/5 years
✔ Long residence still 10 years
✔ English requirement still B1
✔ No earned-settlement scoring
✔ Nobody is on a 10–30 year ILR route

📌 HAVE YOUR SAY (VERY IMPORTANT)
Anyone can respond: migrants, citizens, employers, charities, students — every voice counts.

👉 OFFICIAL HOME OFFICE CONSULTATION LINK (GOV.UK):
(GOV.UK – Earned Settlement Consultation)
Online survey:
https://ukhomeoffice.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1yMmiaG7zqwPuM6

Go to “Respond to the consultation” → “Online survey.”
You can submit:
• Your personal experiences
• Your concerns
• Your objections
• Your suggestions
• Your professional viewpoint
🕛 Deadline: 11:59pm — 12 February 2026
🗣️ If people stay silent, the government assumes the public agrees.
📌 WHEN COULD CHANGES START?
⏳ Earliest possible date: April 2026
(Not confirmed — depends on feedback + Parliament.)
📌 STOP THE MISINFORMATION
❌ “It’s already law”
❌ “Everyone must now wait 10–30 years”
❌ “ILR changed overnight”
These statements are false.
✔ Nothing has changed.

📌 QUICK SUMMARY (SHARE THIS PART)
• The 10–30 year ILR plan is NOT law
• It is a proposal under consultation
• You can comment until 12 Feb 2026
• Current ILR rules remain exactly the same
• Nobody has been moved to a 10–30 year route
• Your feedback can influence the final decision
