Thank you to every individual, organisation, and trusted adult who has stood with us, taken the pledge, and committed to protecting young people.

๐Ÿ“‰ New Home Office data shows that robberies involving a knife in the 7 highest volume areas are now more than a fifth lower (21%) than they were in June 2024.

Patrick Green, CEO of the Ben Kinsella Trust and member of the governmentโ€™s Coalition to Tackle Knife Crime said:

"These figures show that coordinated national leadership from the government, and targeted policing, are making a tangible difference, with thousands fewer knife robberies than just 2 years ago... However, Knife Crime Awareness Week highlights that real, lasting change depends on all of us."

๐Ÿ“‰ This , the latest Office for National Statistics figures show that progress is possible, knife crime is falling and fewer people are being harmed in the areas most affected.

But we cannot be complacent.
Offences still stand at 49,151, far above the target to halve knife crime by 2034 by the Government.

CEO at the The Ben Kinsella Trust Patrick Green says: โ€œThese figures show that progress is possible, but they also underline how much further we still have to goโ€ฆ Prevention must stay at the heart of our response.โ€
