Liberty Speakers Toastmasters will be meeting in person tomorrow, 21 May at Norbury Baptist Church.

In a world where communication increasingly shapes opportunities, spaces that allow people to practise speaking, leadership, listening, and confidence are becoming more valuable than ever.

At Liberty Speakers, you do not need to be a perfect speaker to attend.
You simply need to be willing to grow.

Some of the strongest communicators started with:

* shaky introductions,
* nervous Table Topics,
* forgotten words,
* and self-doubt.

Growth rarely begins with confidence.
It begins with showing up.

It's rarely the idea.

Public speaking confidence at work isn't a personality trait. It's a repeatable skill. And like any skill, it improves with structured practice and honest feedback.

That's the design of Speechcraft:

“Opportunity knocks” sounds exciting until you realize it often arrives disguised as discomfort, uncertainty, and growth.

Thursday evening at Liberty Speakers reminded us that growth begins at the threshold, the point where we decide whether to stay where we are or step into something new.

Our Word of the Day was Threshold and it could not have been more fitting.

Jungsoo’s Icebreaker speech carried a raw honesty that many could relate to.
Carol's speech reflected on his journey to becoming an Area Director.

Overall, Thursday's meeting demonstrated strong communication, thoughtful word choices, and creative expression as many speakers crossed new thresholds of confidence and opportunity.
