🌍 ❄️ ☀️💚 🎄*Celebrate the Winter Solstice in Valentines Park Forest Garden*. Monday 22 December, 12-2. 💚☀️❄️🎄 💛A community get together.💛

Adults & kids: Mud painting, tree dressing, soup, and bring/share veggie snacks. Bring your paint brushes- we’ll paint Suns ☀️everywhere!

We’ll sprinkle some leaves and love 🍃 🍁 on the Cran Brook as a blessing for its restoration.

Maybe we’ll take a mindful walk…. other ideas welcome…

Tomorrow, Wednesday, 13th August, 5-9pm.

Ilford Transition Town is organising a free cooking session with local fruit .
Fallen apples and plums can be used for a variety of purposes, including making jams, chutneys, sauces, compotes, etc. They can also be stewed and frozen for later use.

If you would like to be part of this cooking together session in one of our members kitchen, please get in touch with us. It is on first come first served basis as we have only limited 10 places. All fruit will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own fruit as well.
