We raised over £4,500 ! 👏

Thank you to all the parents and team members who joined us for our fete back in August. Last week we met up with a representative from to hand over the cheque for £4,560.72!

The Honeypot Children’s Charity provides support for young carers and for children aged 5-12 facing difficult circumstances.

The money was very much appreciated and will make a big difference to some young lives.

Meet our new charity for 2026-27 The Honeypot Children's Charity!

Following a whole-school vote, we’re delighted to announce that Honeypot Children’s Charity has been chosen as our charity for the year ahead.

The result was revealed to pupils in assembly this week, marking the start of what we hope will be an incredible year of fundraising, challenges and effots across CLS.

We’re looking forward to learning more about the work Honeypot does to support young carers and their families.

Huge thanks to all our volunteers who regularly knit and crochet bees for us! These are very popular with our young carers, and are included in the memory bags they take home at the end of their residential Respite Break. The bees can then be hung up at home to help them smile and remember that they have another Honeypot break to look forward to.

We also take the bees out and about in the local community to raise awareness and funds for Honeypot. All shapes and sizes are welcome - create your own or follow the patterns on our website:

We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of the 9CC Group and we are delighted to receive an amazing £5,546 donation towards funding a residential respite break for young carers from Cumnock and the Doon Valley. 💛

This generous donation will help local young carers enjoy time away from their caring responsibilities, make happy memories, build confidence and simply have the chance to be children.

The Bumble Ball

Wondering what to do on Thursday October 15th 2026 and live in the New Forest, then why not come and support our ball.
This is in aid of a wonderful charity called Honeypot who have a base in the New Forest and support young carers who find themselves caring for their parent, guardians or siblings and missing out on their childhood. This is by respite care and just being there to help them and giving them time away with no worries.
6.00pm for 7.00pm start at the Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst. Generously supported by Selwood and Scott Bailey we hope that a fun evening will put much needed funds in their coffers so come and join us.

Come rain or shine, there’s always plenty of fresh air and outdoor fun on a Honeypot respite break! The chance for young carers to let go of their responsibilities and just enjoy being kids is priceless. They go home energised, refreshed and full of confidence.

Laughs, legends and over £10,000 raised - what a night! Our fifth annual Honeypot Comedy Night brought the house down at The Comedy Store in London, with a brilliant line-up of comedians helping us raise funds to support young carers and children aged 5-12 experiencing difficult circumstances.

Hosted by the wonderful Ria Lina the evening featured comedy favourites Milton Jones, Sikisa, Ian Stone and Blank Peng, who had the audience laughing from start to finish.

We are incredibly grateful to Ria and all of our comedians for generously giving their time to support Honeypot. Also to our headline sponsor Rigby Capital, event sponsors Selwood, Sweet Projects, Afiniti and Loomis Sayles, and all those who donated prizes.
