Faggamuffin Bloc Party

Faggamuffin Bloc Party celebrates LGBTQ+ people from African and Caribbean Heritage in Carnival.

Faggamuffin Bloc Party celebrates Black Pride and the lives of LGBTQ+ people from African and Caribbean heritage in Carnival contexts. We do so by creating in-person events for our community to come together and celebrate ourselves through music and dance. Since 2018 has turned to reach nearly thousands of people at our main events. We’re excited to continue to do the work that we’re doing and seek to continue to grow and represent our communities in the context of Carnival.

We’re looking forward to having you tonight at Faggamuffin Carnival Pride.

Of course, the most important thing is that you bring your beautiful selves.

The second most important thing is that you bring your ID, as we do not want to see anybody sent home.

Village Underground functions on a strict no ID no entry policy.

If you do not have ID, photos of ID saved on your phone are sometimes acceptable.

There is a cloak room available if you need to put your things away and free yourselves to enjoy tonight’s vibes.

The only thing hotter than all of you, will be our fiya line up.

The venue is wheelchair accessible.

If you are planning on coming and need support, please contact us!

There will be some, but not much, seating available. Please let us know if you have any specific seating requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.

Safe Only will be on welfare duties throughout the night. They are a not-for-profit, peer-led team of q***r nightlife angels, that are intuitively skilled and highly trained in conflict resolution, de-escalation, drug awareness/response. They centre harm reduction in everything they do.

Please remember that last entry is at 3am and if you’re bringing friends, tickets are £20 on the door.

Looking forward to tonight, see you later hunnies!
