GROWING A HEALTHIER AND HAPPIER COMMUNITY

THE FITNESS GARDEN The Fitness Garden was founded as a Community Interest Company in August 2019 when we opened our beautiful indoor garden facility in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. Our purpose being to grow a healthier and Happier community through supporting improvements in Health, Fitness and Mental Wellbeing. The first 90 days saw us celebrate by collaborating with local industry experts. Together we hosted some fantastic workshops to educate and engage local people in activities that they may not have otherwise had the opportunity to experience. Laughter Yoga, Family Self Defence and Meditation Sound Baths were just some of the events that helped people to find ways to become more active and do it with a smile. Our growth exceeded expectations and at the end of 2019 we were working to deliver positive health and wellbeing outcomes for various community groups with some amazing partners such as Wycombe Wanderers Sports and Education Trust, Department of Work and Pensions, Red Kite Community Housing and Buckinghamshire Mind to name just a few. 2020 started with the same momentum and we began reaching out further across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire with projects being delivered for Pupil Referral Units at The Fitness Garden. Our network is growing and in February we started work with community partners in Hertfordshire and we are privileged to be part of the newly formed Wellbeing Forum and Community Partnerships for London Borough of Hillingdon. We are currently supporting the community through a number of online initiatives. Including our FREE resources that we communicate through our Facebook group THE FITNESS GARDEN ONLINE.
