For today’s Volunteers' Week post, we’re introducing Clara, who joined us in 2021 as a medical research strategy volunteer and is now one of our amazing trustees.

Clara first discovered our charity through CharityJob and without the platform, we may never have met her. She plays a vital role in our work and has made a hugely positive impact on the support we provide to families living with Ring20, an ultra‑rare form of epilepsy.

Today we’re celebrating another wonderful charity, MammaKind, who received a donation from CharityJob as part of our annual charitable giving.

MammaKind, based in south-east London, is a baby bank that helps struggling families with children aged five years and under. They collect and distribute donations of clothing, toiletries, toys and baby equipment, as well as baby food.

Richmond AID is a charity run by and for disabled people in Richmond and surrounding areas. They help to remove barriers to achieve greater independence for disabled people by offering advice and wellbeing services as well as services within the community.

Today we’re celebrating Safe and Sound Group, another one of the charities who received a donation from us as part of our annual charitable giving.

Safe and Sound tackle all forms of child exploitation by providing high quality tailored one-to-one support to victims and young people at risk in Derby and Derbyshire. They have programmes that address awareness, prevention, support and recovery.

Today we’re celebrating LMK (Let Me Know), who recently received a donation from us as a part of our annual giving.

LMK is an education charity working with young people to prevent domestic violence, relationship abuse and sexual assault. They run a prevention programme that equips young people to have healthy relationships and embeds behaviours and expectations that are carried through into adult life.
