Have you ever wondered how much work is behind some of the reference materials and pages that you use in your daily practice?

Join us in this webinar organised by the Photographic Materials group to discover “Fotografias Perdurables,” a collaborative website launched in August 2026. This initiative has brought together Photograph Conservation professionals from around the world to make high-quality resources accessible in Spanish.

Heritage Open Days happens every year in England and celebrates heritage, community and history. It can offer cultural institutions, organisations and studios the chance to open their doors to the public to share what they do, and why it’s important in maintaining England’s diverse heritage.

What does this mean for conservators? It’s an opportunity to highlight your, or your studio/labs work and projects and shed light on the field of conservation and why it’s so important! On-site or online events can be organised. The theme this year is Everyday Histories, and takes place Sept. 11-20th. For more information on how to get involved, see the main website below. Heritage Open Days

Event registration deadline is August 13th:

The first step is to join our community for access to our resources and events. Don't worry, this doesn't commit you to running an event, it just sets you up for the festival cycle.
