London Deaf Club is back in Euston!

We are excited to invite all BSL users to come along to meet new people, catch up with friends, communicate freely in British Sign Language and relax in a welcoming space with free refreshments (tea, coffee, and biscuits! β˜•πŸͺ).

There will also be free vegetarian food kindly provided by Ms Chhaya Darji 🫜

Our London Deaf Club is open to all BSL users. Whether this is your first time or you’re a regular you will be warmly welcomed.

Hello everyone! Empowering Deaf Society is pleased to invite you to our Breast Cancer Awareness Workshop.

We are excited to be working in collaboration with Breast Cancer UK, who will be joining us to provide useful information and raise awareness about breast cancer.

During the workshop, you can learn more about breast cancer, how to check your breasts, what changes or signs to look out for, and how you may be able to reduce your risk. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.

Empowering Deaf Society is delighted to announce in-person British Sign Language Level 2 course starting in September 2026 in Newbury Park, London.

Venue: EDS offices, 2a Central Parade, Ley Street, Ilford, IG2 7DE
Nearest station: Newbury Park

Length of course: 30 sessions over 34 weeks

Our courses are led by experienced, qualified Deaf, Native BSL user tutors and all assessments will take place during scheduled classes. Assessment fees and certificates for successful candidates are included in the course fee.

As part of the course you will also have 8 additional sessions at one of our Deaf clubs held in central London. Our Deaf Club sessions offer a supportive friendly environment for conversation practice and a place to build confidence in using sign whilst also providing you with direct access to Deaf Culture. You will have the opportunity to interact with different people and practice your receptive skills and learn regional variations.
