Delighted to announce Makoko Pearls has just scraped past its first £1000.00 (from our fundraiser and donations directly to the organisation)! THANK YOU to all who have given! That's from just over a handful of you so far, and I truly appreciate it. We've still got a long way to go, so hopefully 'Water Baby Book' has a long life that keeps people coming to the fundraising site!

On a sad note though, since we've had zero sales in our online shop, I've decided to close it down as it costs money to run and I want to make sure that every penny goes to the community. So, the Makoko Pearls shop will be closed at the end of Sept.

PLEASE DO VISIT US in the meantime (https://shop.makokopearls.org/) and if you're inclined to make a purchase, then you better get cracking!
