The Whittington Health Black History Month event was FANTASTIC. Really good to see so many Whittington Health staff listening to and being inspired by so many wonderful speakers. There was representation from Metropolitan Black Police Association, Montessori Schools, A filmmaker engaging young people to make films exploring issues of race and mental health (amongst other issues). There was singing, dancing and an interesting talk on the influence of Black musicians in the UK.

Thanks to Eddie Kent for organising this event which was in memory of his own father who passed away recently, and Steve Hitchins (former Whittington Health Chair) who supported these yearly Black History events.
