Telling a small story about me.
My name is Mirriam Mambwe.
Before I founded MMRSF, I was a girl in rural Zambia struggling. walking hours, just to reach a classroom, hungry, unsure if it was even worth it. I watched girls around me pulled out of school into early marriages. I saw dreams end before they even began.
That’s the reality I grew up in, and it’s the reality many of our children still face toda.
That’s why I had to try and contribute positively to my community through starting up an organisation meant to shift the narrative, because I know firsthand what’s possible Whalen a child is simply given the chance to learn.🌱📚
