Men’s Health Week is a reminder that looking after your health matters. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, and knowing the signs can help you seek advice sooner.

Research conducted by Cleveland Clinic London highlights that a significant proportion of men in the UK are unsure of the general signs of prostate cancer, underlining the importance of greater awareness and earlier conversations about men’s health.

During Men’s Health Week, we’re encouraging men to take time to understand the symptoms, consider their individual risk, and speak to a healthcare professional if they have any concerns.

At Cleveland Clinic London, we are committed to supporting men’s health through expert care and improving awareness to help people take action earlier.

We're proud to have supported the launch of Thrive4Life's Men's Health Matters campaign, helping to drive more open conversations around men's physical and mental health.

A highlight of the event was the discussion between former England rugby player Ben Youngs and our own Dr Philip Batty, Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine, who shared insights on prevention, recognising risk factors and the importance of early intervention, alongside stories from his experience working with elite sports teams.

As the campaign continues, Dr Simon Hodes, Dr Sanjeev Bhattacharyya and Professor Senthil Nathan will be sharing their expertise through a series of webinars covering key men's health topics, from heart health to cancer awareness and preventive screening.

Thank you to Thrive4Life for bringing together such an important conversation and helping to raise awareness of the steps men can take to protect their health.
