Appreciation to for this reel and caption: “A reminder that everything is political. We love skincare as much as the next person (potentially more so), but self-care goes beyond the beauty industry. Self-care is also community care. Always.”

We share the firm belief that community care is what nourishes us and in times that feel destabilising, we can lean on our layers of community support. Stay tuned for upcoming community based events. Big love from Cranio in the Community ✨♥️

We had to share this post from our mother account as it’s too exciting!

We’re thrilled to announce that the legendary Etienne Peirsman, a pioneer in craniosacral therapy, is bringing his transformative teachings to London in April 2025! Don’t miss this rare opportunity to dive into life’s most profound thresholds:

🕊️ Death & Dying (April 19-22)
Discover the beauty and clarity that can emerge when we embrace death as a natural part of life. Through craniosacral techniques, meditative practices, and deep self-reflection, you’ll explore what it means to let go, stay present, and live fully. Learn to support yourself and others during this sacred transition with compassion and mindfulness.

🌱 Birthing (April 24-27)
Reclaim the wisdom of life’s miraculous beginnings. This course offers a powerful exploration into the dynamics of conception, birth, and the lost treasures of our placenta and stem cells. Through interactive constellations and vibrational practices, reconnect with the purity of being and discover tools to support renewal, clarity, and wholeness.

✨ Etienne’s teachings are poetic, profound, and life-changing. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or simply seeking a deeper understanding of life’s mysteries, these events are not to be missed.

Stimulating the vagus nerve is of paramount importance for our overall health and well-being.

As the longest cranial nerve, the vagus nerve plays a vital role in regulating the parasympathetic nervous system, often referred to as the “rest and digest” system. When activated, the vagus nerve helps to lower heart rate and blood pressure, enhance digestion, and promote a sense of relaxation and calm.

Additionally, it is intimately involved in the body’s stress response, acting as a natural antidote to the “fight or flight” response by promoting relaxation and reducing anxiety.

Furthermore, the vagus nerve plays a crucial role in supporting the immune system and maintaining a healthy balance of inflammation in the body. Given its widespread influence on various physiological processes, stimulating the vagus nerve through practices such as deep breathing, meditation, yoga, or therapies like cranio-sacral therapy, can be profoundly beneficial for our mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Craniosacral Therapy has the potential to stimulate the vagus nerve through its gentle and non-invasive approach to restoring balance within the craniosacral system.

The Craniosacral Collaborative is dedicated to bringing CST to more communities through outreach, education, and therapist training. Join us in promoting this powerful, healing work!

Craniosacral Therapy is a subtle, non-directive approach that works with the body’s innate healing forces, focusing on supporting the natural rhythms of the body to bring about balance, health, and integration. It is grounded in the belief that health is always present, and the practitioner’s role is to create a supportive environment for the body to realign with its own inherent vitality.

At the Craniosacral Collaborative, we believe this transformative work should be accessible to all—both for future practitioners and those seeking healing. Our mission is to expand the reach of craniosacral therapy through training programs and community outreach, ensuring that more people experience the profound benefits of this gentle yet powerful practice.
