Who came by to fit in a cheeky practice session before the rematch of the season? 👀

Next week at the Greenhouse Centre, local Met officers are putting their table tennis skills to the test against our young people. 🏓💥

It all started earlier this summer, when officers spontaneously joined in with a bit of table tennis practice happening nearby our Centre. And when Greenhouse young people showed them how it’s done, the officers knew they had to come by for a second go! 😆

Moments like these are why community spaces like ours matter. So we can build relationships from positive foundations, with time and space for mutual respect.

Bring on the rematch!

As we wrap up another academic year, it’s a wonderful time to reflect on the amazing work our Coach-Mentors do, and how your support allows them to do their best work. 🙌

This video is a perfect example of what Greenhouse is all about - working with the young people who need us the most. Coach Jo Hemsley works at a SEN school, and was able to put on a high-production sports day that was inclusive of all ability types, and most importantly allowed each young person to have fun in the process. 🏆

The work doesn’t stop just because the school year is done, though. Our Coach-Mentors remain present even through the school holidays, running summer camps for the young people to stay engaged, stay learning and stay safe. 🖤

Our fundraisign campaign was ‘Highly Commended’ at the Purpose Awards last night! 🎉🖤

Greenhouse Sports was up for the Best Charity Fundraising Campaign award at the Purpose Awards this year. While we didn’t come out with the win, we received the ‘Highly Commended’ recognition, which is still a great thing to walk out of there with! 🏆

We’re so grateful to every member of our that made our For Every Future campaign possible, and for continuing to show up for us. With your help, we can continue on our mission, making sure every child has a fair chance at life. 🖤💚

In a world where there are many things in a young person’s life that can make them feel uncomfortable, it’s difficult to find alternative spaces for them to feel safe and welcomed.

As Bushra has spoken about, the Greenhouse Centre does a great job of filling that gap.

Huge congrats to our Marathonners! 🏃‍♂️🖤
We had an amazing set of runners, all raising money for Greenhouse Sports during the London Marathon.
Together, they’ve been able to raise over £20,000 for young people facing poverty.
We salute you and thank you for your efforts, and thanks for being part of the 💚
