Our fundraisign campaign was ‘Highly Commended’ at the Purpose Awards last night! 🎉🖤
 
Greenhouse Sports was up for the Best Charity Fundraising Campaign award at the Purpose Awards this year. While we didn’t come out with the win, we received the ‘Highly Commended’ recognition, which is still a great thing to walk out of there with! 🏆
 
We’re so grateful to every member of our that made our For Every Future campaign possible, and for continuing to show up for us. With your help, we can continue on our mission, making sure every child has a fair chance at life. 🖤💚

In a world where there are many things in a young person’s life that can make them feel uncomfortable, it’s difficult to find alternative spaces for them to feel safe and welcomed.
 
As Bushra has spoken about, the Greenhouse Centre does a great job of filling that gap.

Huge congrats to our Marathonners! 🏃‍♂️🖤
We had an amazing set of runners, all raising money for Greenhouse Sports during the London Marathon.
Together, they’ve been able to raise over £20,000 for young people facing poverty.
We salute you and thank you for your efforts, and thanks for being part of the 💚

He’s On a mission to make HISTORY. 👟

Meet Steve Raven - Athlete, entrepreneur, Greenhouse member.

His challenge? He’s given himself 1,000 days to train, so he can become only the fourth man in the world aged 70 or over to run a marathon in under three hours. ⚡️

In the process, he’ll be raising money for Greenhouse Sports because of his experience with game-changing coaches when he was younger.

We listened to his story.

We’re back 😍
On Thursday night, The Greenhouse Centre doors opened for the first time in five years, and the building filled with life and energy in a way that’s hard to put into words.
 
We invited some of our partners, longtime supporters, coaches, trustees and other members into the building - people who care deeply about what we do, and who we do it for.
 
The event was great, but it’s not how we’ll measure the success of the Centre as a whole. That will be done in the moments when a young person stays engaged, gains confidence, or takes a different path because someone here didn’t give up on them.
 
Thank you to everyone who came. There is so much still to come, and can’t wait to bring you all together in this space that is Ours once again. 🖤
