When a young person believes they’re capable of more, this is what happens.
 
For Jemima, it started with a tennis racket.
 
From being too shy to put her hand up in class, she’s now a public speaking champion, school prefect and aspiring surgeon.
 
For Gabriele, it started with basketball. Two years later, she’s playing at National League level, mentoring younger students and aiming for a top university.
 
But the common thread isn’t sport.
 
It’s the trusted adults who show up, week after week, year after year, helping young people discover what they’re capable of.
 
Coach Tom helping Jemima realise that every missed shot was part of learning, until she had the confidence to chase opportunities she never thought were for her.
 
Coach Clayden helping Gabriele find her voice, her discipline and her ambition, putting in the work to reach the higher level that’s opening up for her.
 
The final piece in our Sporting Chance campaign with The Standard is live today, sharing this life-changing impact of consistent coaching and mentoring for young people.
 
We’re buzzing to have Paralympic champion Will Bayley MBE and British sprinter Zharnel Hughes backing the campaign, too. Because coaches and mentors made the difference for them both; sport was just the starting point.

We got a bosh from Big John! 💪
 
So meaningful for our team to be part of . In memory of 9/11, dozens of big-name stars hit the phones on the trading floor at BGC Group to raise millions for charity.
 
We had Gareth Southgate, Keith Lemon, Jamie Redknapp, Maro Itoje, Graham Souness, Jamie Carragher and Teddy Sheringham playing table tennis with Greenhouse, with Helen Mirren, Michael MacIntyre and Fatboy Slim dropping by as well. Unreal.

Every day, Greenhouse Coach-Mentors help young people discover their potential, build confidence and open up brighter opportunities for themselves. 

“I’ve seen first-hand what that kind of nurture does in a professional environment, but with these kids it’s even more important because it’s their future.”

For Ben, it’s a full-circle moment: our CEO Donald Barrell has played a significant part in his journey, and now he’s backing Greenhouse as we help thousands more young people thrive through the power of sport and mentoring.
