After years of campaigning and two rounds of strike action, workers employed by OCS at Heathrow have won a formal collective bargaining agreement.

Workers standing together and building power in their workplace is essential for delivering on jobs, pay and conditions! 💪

✊ These highly skilled workers keep council tenants safe and comfortable in their homes, but today they're striking in local authorities across the country.

After a decade of pay freezes and paltry increases, plus attacks on their national agreement, these craftworkers have downed tools. 🛠️

This was the scene in Newham this morning. They'll be out again tomorrow, and next Tuesday and Wednesday!

Bus drivers are being overworked to the point of extreme fatigue by the bus companies. Making them watch videos on wellbeing or take a nap in a cupboard in their depot won’t cure the problem. These initiatives are insulting.

Fatigue is very serious and is caused by long hours, terrible shift patterns and the poor workplace conditions experienced by bus workers every day. It is time this issue was treated with the importance it deserves. Anything less will not be accepted.
