Residents have informed us that ‘Parking Surveyors’ employed by Barnet Council are on the streets of East Finchley. We have submitted questions to the council to help clarify the nature of the parking survey. (Photo submitted by a local resident. We have removed the name and photo of the contractor).

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers who came out last night to raise awareness of the community-led consultation. We were warmly welcomed by everyone we spoke to. Whether they be in support or opposition, local residents were thankful of the effort by the team in offering meaningful engagement. Thank you. We will announce another session soon.

We’ve got news: The Leader of Barnet Council has finally replied! Barry Rawlings states: “Nothing has happened because at the moment there are no plans to change the existing CPZ system in East Finchley” But, it could change! Make sure you join us on Thursday for our one-hour community action hour. Meet outside the Windows Castle at 7pm.

We have received over 170 responses so far, but we need more. It is important that we have a fair share of responses from each and every street across East Finchley in order to gather enough information to present to Barnet Council

There are some ways you can help achieve this:

- print and display the n2cpz.com info poster in your window (available to download from our website)
- forward this email on to 10 local friends and contacts
- encourage your immediate neighbours to complete the survey (if they haven’t done so already)
- help one person with limited internet access to complete the online survey form.
