Due to new fire regulations we are no longer able to accept donations of mobile phones or tablets for recycling. For our shop to comply with the regulations, it would cost us £1,300 for fire safe cabinets and fire risk assessments - an amount that far outstrips what we can make from recycling phones and would be better served providing aid to vulnerable people in crisis. Please contact your local council for information on where you can recycle your old electrics.

Did you know? Oxfam takes donations of foreign currency - we love them! 2 rupees to 20 dollars, 50 cents or 50 francs, we’re happy to receive donations of foreign currency no matter how big or small. 💵💴💶💷

So if you have a handful of change left over from your summer holidays, you can turn it into a force for good by donating it in store. 🌱🌧️🥬🥖

We even take outdated currency! If that pouch of Spanish pesetas from the 90’s is just collecting dust in a drawer at home, you can drop it off to us in store. 💸🫶♻️💚
